OPPO launched their latest OPPO R17 collection with great fanfare at Shanghai Columbia Circle on the night of 23rd August 2018. Wonderlabs was very honored to be part of this great event, by bringing 4 art installations and the RFID system.Consumers were taken on an art journey and experienced the amazing OPPO R17 through innovative and funny ways.
RFID System
The audience picked up an RFID bracelet at the entrance, then took a photo in each area with the help of their bracelet. They could then browse all the photos taken at the exhibition exit and share them with friends.
Quick Charge Area
Entering the exhibition area, the consumers' eyes were automatically attracted by hundreds of hanging energy balls. In the area where the energy balls merged, two charging stations were set up and different types of OPPO phones were placed for charging. The balls lit up as the charging progressed. the new point --Faster charging was illustrated by how fast energy balls lit.
The Deep World
Venus and David statues were displayed in the deep world space. Using Kinect technology to detect the users position, the statues would turn toward them. This experience symbolized the Oppo R17 TOF stereo camera function.
At Touch
In the touch-motion space, the colors of the different R17 covers could be switched by the phone on the console. The corresponding patterns animation were then projected on the silky fabric, which movements created a dynamic and enhanced visual experience.
Shimmer Story
In the night space, the phones covers were mimicked by abstract colorful visuals.The user could perceive the technical prowess of the product thanks to lidar technology.
The OPPO's fantasy night brought a great interactive experience to many guests, and has shown the charm of innovative technology.
