Along with 2019 Chinese New Year coming, Shanghai Shimao Festival City launched great spring festival event, Wonderlabs is very honored to be invited to design and produce the “Fantasy Wonderland” immersive experience for the event.
Chinese New Year is very important to all Chinese people. It represents reunion, tradition and blessing. This creation is intended to integrate Chinese elements and young dynamic design, creating a poetic and fantastical journey. For this project the Wonderlabs team wanted to combine art and technology in a collision of classical Chinese design and modern spirit, representing hope for a beautiful future.
Once entering the “fantasy wonderland”, you will be faced with a beautiful Chinese scroll while standing on a lake, with ripples, flowers and fish around your feet. Your movements interact with the beautiful world of cranes, butterflies, flowers, deers and birds.
The Wonderlabs team is very happy to have the opportunity to create interactive artwork with lovely classically Chinese aesthetics. We are also very grateful to Shanghai Shimao Festival City’s trust and cooperation.
