Wonderlabs is very honored to be invited to design the 2019 Christmas Installation for Life Hub DaNing.
We designed a kinetic Christmas tree made up of colorful cubes that shift colors as the viewer moves around it. The crystal-like cubes represent Christmas gifts, some of them open up to reveal hidden treasures within its colorful surface that spark the imagination of the viewer.
The world is full of changes and movements, new technology and the sharing of different ideas and cultures. As ideas and traditions evolve with time we hope that people will unite in a shared hope for the future where people all around the world can share the original idea of sharing and kindness that Christmas is all about.
The tree measure over 8 meters tall and is made up of 195 individual cubes.
