Cartier Shenzhen Bay Mix City boutique was opened in May 2021, Wonderlabs was very honored to be invited to design and produce an interactive art installation TRACE for the store.
As Cartier's iconic animal pattern, the Panthere has become an inexhaustible source of inspiration for Cartier designers since it first appeared in the brand's works in 1914. Since then, the image of Panthere has continued to evolve and innovate. It is unruly, exudes fascinating charm, and shows its unique personality. We are very happy to have opportunity to interpret the iconic pattern in a unique art installation that interacts with people.
Whenever someone passes by the installation, the shadow of Panthere is displayed elegantly, bringing people creative and classic impression of Cartier in an interesting interactive experience.
